This report presents the findings of CódigoLactancIA, Mexico's digital platform for monitoring compliance with the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes. It highlights results from the platform's innovative tools, including the Virtual Violations Detector (VIVID), which scans social media and online marketplaces for potential violations by well-known brands, as well as public reporting mechanisms that generate real-time data. The report offers insights into current marketing practices, enforcement challenges, and opportunities to strengthen breastfeeding protection in Mexico.
