Co-organized by: Alive & Thrive, UNICEF México, and SANAR Foundation Argentina
Since 2022, Alive & Thrive has partnered with governments, UNICEF, and civil society organizations to develop innovative Code monitoring solutions. One such innovation is the AI Virtual Violations Detector (VIVID), designed specifically to address digital marketing violations. The first VIVID was launched in Viet Nam and has since been scaled to four additional countries. It has evolved into a comprehensive digital platform that includes a crowdsourced reporting system and a Code resource hub.
With the recent adoption of WHA Resolution 78.18, which emphasizes the monitoring of digital marketing of breastmilk substitutes, and in alignment with this year’s World Breastfeeding Week theme on sustainability, we are pleased to introduce a new podcast and live Q&A event: Code Chat.
This event will feature guests from SANAR Foundation Argentina and UNICEF México, our partners in ObservaMaS (Observatorio del Marketing de Sucedáneos) Argentina and CódigoLactancIA México, who will share their insights on using AI and crowdsourced reporting to strengthen Code monitoring and enforcement in support of breastfeeding.
Podcast launch and live Q&A: August 27, 2025
